Q. It says placing classified ads on abletoafford is free, is it really, are there no hidden charges ?

A. No, there are no charges, no "final value fees", no commission, it is as stated - totally FREE.

Q. Why are there no fees, surely there is some kind of cost or catch to the advertiser ?

A. It really is free to advertise on abletoafford, we hope to earn our revenue from users clicking on the Google ads (as seen on the left) placed on our site.

Q. Are there any restrictions on what I can advertise ?

A. Not really, except that obscene or unlawful listings will not be permitted, if it is legal then we do not object, see terms and conditions

Q. Do I have to be registered to place a classified ad on abletoafford ?

A. Yes, to actually sell or advertise your business/services on our site you have to register (it's a simple process) it is free to browse or buy from, of course.

Q. Can I alter my classified advert after I have listed it if I find a mistake ?

A. Yes users can modify their adverts at any time, for whatever reason.

Q. Can I include pictures with my classified advert ?

A. Yes, you can upload an image which shows as a thumbnail with your ad but enlarges when clicked on.

Q. Is there a limit as to how many classifieds I can run at any one time ?

A. Not really, except where an advert is obviously spam, for example, you can place the same ad in several categories at once as long as it is relevant, but if we find the same advert placed in every category it will be removed.

Q. How often can I relist a classified advert ?

A. Adverts are shown for 14 days and then automatically removed, but they can be relisted immediately.

Q. Can I remove an advert when I choose ?

A. Yes of course, you are free to delete or modify at your leisure.

Q. What if I cannot find a category suitable for my advert ?

A. If there is no suitable category then contact us and we will no doubt be able to create one for you.

Q. Are my registered details safe ?

A. Yes they are, we do not ask for any personal or financial details that could be used illegally, nor do we sell, exchange or publish in any form information that is submitted to us.
